Advantages to hiring an Ask An Adjuster public adjuster
- Insurance Professionals with YOUR Best Interest at Heart
- When you submit an insurance claim for damage to your home or business, your insurance company sends out an adjuster who inspects and evaluates your loss, recommends a settlement, AND looks out for your insurance company’s best interests. Ask An Adjuster Claims Adjusting works for you, NOT for your insurance company.
- We are Public Adjusters who look out for YOUR best interests. We, your Public Adjusters, will prepare, file, and negotiate the maximum dollar settlement for your insurance claim. We make sure you get the best possible insurance settlement.
- Schedule a FREE property inspection,
even if you don’t have damage! Getting a property inspection BEFORE hurricane season will give you peace of mind that your property is in good shape going into storm season. If you have a commercial property or are
part of an HOA or Condo Association, you will receive a Certificate of Good Condition if no damage was found after our 11-point inspection. This is helpful for the insurance company to know that any storm damage
was not previously there.
- Ask An Adjuster Claims Adjusting also performs FREE insurance policy reviews. Be sure that you are aware of your coverage and limitations well BEFORE storm season! Don’t wait, have an independent professional check your policy.
Why Hire A Public Adjuster?
When it comes to damages to your home, having a Public Insurance Claim Adjuster by your side is not just a great choice but an educated decision. As Public Insurance Claim Adjusters at Ask An Adjuster, we will work through your claim to get you the best possible settlement for you.
Handling your own claim without a public adjuster is like going to court without an attorney. You could do it, but without knowledge of the rules and procedures, you might be at a sizable disadvantage.
Also, according to a study by the Office Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability (OPPAGA), policyholders with public adjuster representation lead to higher average payments, sometimes considerably higher. The studies example of the average compensation hurricane claims in FL were 747% higher when a public adjuster was involved.
You might be asking yourself, how much does the service cost? Our work costs absolutely nothing if we get you nothing. We work on a contingency basis, which means we only get paid if we recover proceeds. Our percentage is based on funds recovered after any prior payments and/or the deductible.
What is the difference between the insurance company adjusters and public adjusters? Insurance company adjusters work for their insurance company and their job is to safeguard the interests of the insurance company. There are often times when insurance company adjusters will settle for a sum that is not always in the policyholder or homeowner’s favor. Our public adjusters have your best interests in mind and work diligently to get you the best settlement possible.

About Public Claims Adjusting
Public Claims Adjusters work for you, not the insurance company.
A public claims adjuster is a property loss claims professional who is an advocate for a policyholder to evaluate and negotiate an insurance claim. Homeowners, business owners, property managers and community association managers engage public claims adjusters to ensure they are getting an equitable settlement from their insurance company.
Handling a claim on your own is like going to court without your own attorney.
Public claims adjusters know how to review and work with Insurance Policies.
Public claims adjusters are experts at properly estimating costs for repairing damage.
Public claims adjusters work the entire complex claims process for you and only you.
Public claims adjusters negotiate a fair settlement directly with the insurance company.
Public claims adjusters expedite the process so you can get your claim paid quickly.
How is a Public Adjuster different from my insurance company adjuster?
There are three types of adjusters licensed by the
State of Florida:
Insurance Company Adjuster - is employed by
an insurance company to represent the insurance
company in dealing with your insurance claim. The
insurance company adjuster’s main responsibility
is to protect the interests of the insurance
Independent Adjuster - is hired by insurance
companies to represent them in dealing with
you, your loss and damages. The independent
adjuster’s main responsibility is to protect the
interests of the insurance company.
Public Adjuster - is licensed and appointed by
the State of Florida to protect the rights of policy
holders and facilitate a fair settlement between a
claimant and their insurance company.
Only a Public Adjuster shares your same goal or timetable.
The insurance company typically sends one of their adjusters to review the damage you present, but they are not always directed to seek out maximum coverages for you. Having Ask An Adjuster Claims Adjusting representing you from the very beginning of the claim process ensures that we keep the claim moving forward at all times and you have someone at all inspections representing you, your clients, and tenants best interests at all times. As a property/asset manager, using the services of a public adjuster only adds value to what you offer your clients and owners.
Our mission as Public Adjusters at Ask An Adjuster Claims Adjusting is “To provide the highest quality of service in claims adjusting by using our license and duty as State of Florida licensed Public Adjusters to protect your rights as a policyholder. While using our vast insurance industry experience and expertise we work for you, not the insurance company, to ensure you receive the fair settlement you deserve.

“Heather was very professional and efficient! She handled all of the difficult stuff that comes with filing a claim with your homeowners insurance. Would definitely recommend.”
“Fred & Roger Wow!!! My case with them took only 3 months. My insurance company was a pain in the butt. Fred and Roger made sure I got my roof replaced in a great time frame. They got me the money I needed for my entire roof project due to damage done from hail storm and past hurricanes. Not only were they there every time my insurance company showed up. But they also made sure the insurance company wrote every single piece of damage down. These two will not fail you. 1am a veteran and a lot of people don't care about veterans but these 2 kind human beings made sure I was fully taken care of. Needless to say I will never go back to that insurance company but I will go back to Ask An Adjuster if Ineed help with anything else. Thank you so very much Also Everyone in the entire office was welcoming and caring."
“This was the second time we worked with Kathy and this was a total breeze! We had hail damage from last March 2019 and she was still able to submit the claim and get it covered for us in less than a month! This was a super fast process and she got us more money than the insurance had originally proposed.”
